Adore Me Launch Plus-Size Bralettes

There’s a new trend sweeping the lingerie world, and it’s perfect for those dress-down days where comfort is every bit as important as style.  Aptly coined as ‘Leisuree’, this ever-growing trend combines leisurewear with lingerie to keep you looking and feeling great on those lazy days – think lace camisole tops, soft lounge pants and of course, the bralette.

The popularity of the bralette has been quietly growing in the last couple of years. Similar to a crop top, this non-wired fabric bra is constructed from triangles of fabric , and is loved for its barely-there feel and comfortable fit- but for plus-size shapes or large cup sizes, a bralette just doesn’t cut the mustard. Lingerie brand Adore Me have found the perfect solution. and have just launched a plus-size bralette. Noticing that a plus-size bralette was nigh-on impossible to find, they’ve made the bralette accessible to curvaceous women.

The US lingerie start-up spent nearly a year developing the product, using the latest technical and design expertise to create a bralette that provides both fit and support up to sizes 4XL. In a bold color palette, the bralettes feature  a power mesh lining for a smooth feel, wide-set straps for support, and a stretch lace construction for an effortless fit. These can be worn in pretty much any dress down scenario – under loungewear, in bed, or on the days where you simply don’t want to wear a bra! The range features:

This innovative range is just the tip of the iceberg. Adore Me are focused on differentiating themselves from lingerie phenomenon Victoria’s Secret. Victoria’s Secret, alongside many other lingerie brands, is tailored more towards a younger, slimmer market. But Adore Me want to be different:

Adore Me has emerged at exactly the right time. With the plus-size market growing at a faster rate in value than conventional sizes, annual US sales of women’s plus-size apparel rose by a huge 17% to $20.4 billion in 2016, and from $17.4 billion in 2013, reports Bloomberg.

With women moving towards being healthy instead of skinny, plus-size women are more body positive than ever. These days women of all shapes and sizes are focused on celebrating their curves and their body shape. Fashion and lingerie brands across the world are becoming more inclusive and thinking differently in order to cater to everyone.
