Pack a Punch with the Panache Sport AW16 Collection
This year is a huge year for women in sport. With the Rio Olympic 2016 games just a few months away, a host of strong women are gearing up to represent the UK including cycling champion Laura Trott, and athlete Christine Ohuruuogo.
In the celebratory spirit of strong, confident women, Panache Sport have launched an AW16 sports bras collections in collaboration with British boxing champion Nicola Adams MBE, the first woman to win an Olympic title in a sport dominated by men.
“We were looking at different Olympians past and present, as well as Olympians from the US. Nicola is slightly different to an Olympian – she’s an Olympic champion and she’s the first woman to win an Olympic boxing title,” explains Jennie Bianco from Panache. “She has the same values in that she goes out to schools and represents a positive body image and hard work, showing that you can achieve things no matter what your background.”
In a series of awe-inspiring shots, Nicola Adams wears the range with aplomb. The collection has a range of wired and non-wired styles in cups B-J, offering amazing support and stand-out designs. Featuring vibrant shades, Brazilian-inspired prints, and rich colours, the collection is vibrant, strong, and feminine.
“We launched a red, white and blue bra for the London 2012 Olympics and that did really well, so we have updated that with the blue marl to give it a bit more depth,” said Panache. “What’s great about red, white and blue and not focusing on a specific flag or country is that it works for the UK, the US and Australia,”
It also comes in a vibrant pink with black piping, ideal if you like statement shades incorporated into your sports bra.
The wired styles include fresh white and classic black shades to compliment any item from your sportswear collection
Panache sports bras are award-winning for a reason. Their best-selling range is designed to banish 83% of breast bounce through clever technology to support and reduce movement. What’s great about these sports bras is that they are designed to encapsulate your boobs rather than compressing them down, allowing for a super-comfortable feel and total freedom of movement.
The collaboration with Nicola Adams is just part of Panache’s commitment to championing strong women, and their ongoing mission to provide supportive underwear for women of all shapes and sizes. This collection is part of a bigger journey.
Modelled by Role Models is a celebration of inspirational women from around the world. Instead of using models for their campaign, Panache use real-life women from all walks of life – including nurses, activists, teachers and women who have overcome personal challenges.
The campaign started in 2015, when Panache discovered that75% of women have few or no role models. Moved by the clear need for relatable role models, they created a campaign to inspire and connect with any woman, anywhere. The next campaign is set to launch in September 2016, so keep your eyes peeled.
In the meantime, watch out for the AW16 collection with Nicola Adams to drop, when it will be available online and in stores later in the year.
