Underwear.co.uk – Common Bra Fit Problems and Solutions
If your bra isn’t fitting perfectly and your bust isn’t looking its best, we’ve got the solution to all of the common bra problems.
My bra is riding up at the back:
If the band at the back of your bra is riding up, you need a larger back size – but remember to go down a cup size.
The band of my bra is loose:
This means one of two things – either you need to increase your back size, or it’s time for a new bra. As bras age they lose their elasticity, so take into account how old the bra is.
My boobs are bulging out of the cups :
If your boobs are popping out of the top or side of the cups, then a bigger cup size is needed – you may need to go down a back size.
The straps are digging in or slipping off:
Try adjusting your straps to fix this, but if this doesn’t work then take into consideration the age of the bra – if it’s more than a year old it’s time for a new one!
The wires aren’t sitting against my chest:
If the wires are sitting away from your chest, riding up, or not encircling the bust, then your cup size may be too small. Try a bigger cup size for more comfortable wires.
