Queen Victoria’s underwear has been dubbed an important part of the UK heritage.

Complete with a huge pair of bloomers and and a chemise, made from linen they were designed for the Queen at the end of the 19th century.

They are being stored at Kensington Palace in London and have been added to the collection of over 12,000 items that have at some point been worn by royalty in the past.

With an impressive 66 inch bust and 50 inch waist, the underwear is embroidered with the queens initials VR and a small golden crown. They even have a serial number so that when they were sent to be laundered they could be kept track of, so they wouldnt go missing.

In the 19th century women generally wore open crotch knickers where the seperate legs were joined by a draw string at the waist, and it seems the Queen was no different!
